How to join your server
You can connect to your Hytale server in two ways: using Direct Connect for a quick one-time connection, or Add Server to save it to your favorites list for easy access later.
Your server's IP address and port can be found at the top of the Console tab in your Game Panel.
Method 1 — Direct Connect
Step 1
Launch Hytale and select Servers from the main menu.
Step 2
Click Direct Connect at the bottom right of your screen.
Step 3
Enter your server's IP Address:Port in the text box, then click Connect. If the server has a password, enter it when prompted.
Method 2 — Add Server (save to favorites)
Step 1
Launch Hytale and select Servers from the main menu.
Step 2
Click Add Server at the bottom right of your screen.
Step 3
Enter your server's IP Address:Port and a Name for it, then click Add Server.
Step 4
The server will appear in your Favorites list. Double-click it to join. If the server has a password, enter it when prompted.
FAQ
Why can't I connect to my server? Connection issues are often caused by a version mismatch between your client and the server. Make sure your server is running and that you're entering the correct IP address and port.
Why am I stuck connecting? The server might still be starting up, loading, or generating the world. Wait a few seconds and try again.
