How to update your Hytale server
Keeping your server updated ensures you have the latest features and bug fixes. You can enable automatic updates so the server checks for a new version on every startup.
Create a backup before updating your server. Updates can occasionally cause issues with your world or configuration.
Step 1
Access your Game Panel and navigate to your Hytale server. Go to the Startup section in the left sidebar.
Step 2
Scroll down to the Startup Variables section and enable the AUTO UPDATE toggle.
Step 3
Restart your server from the Console tab. The server will automatically download and apply any available update on startup.
Once updated, you can disable the AUTO UPDATE toggle again to prevent future automatic updates and keep your server on the current version.
